In the 2010 season, as in the previous years, all teams bank on the chassis know-how of the Italian constructor Dallara. All of the vehicles are from the current model range, F308, which has an underfl oor skid block. With a front and rear crash box and two roll-over protection structures, the cars are extremely safe. Still, drivers should not get overly zealous: Even after a serious crash, a chassis change during an event is not permitted. The minimum weight is 540 kilograms (vehicle including the driver in full racing gear and including all vehicle fl uids except petrol). In the current season chassis from the homologation period 2005 – 2007 are permitted for guest entrants as well.
